I have stumbled upon a two gallon ziplock bag full of skipjack. They are packed three to a smaller bag, and one of those bags will sepnd the evening on the bottom of my boat, whilst I lure unsuspecting catfish to the cooler in preparation for a July 4th fish fry.

    Wish me luck.

Matt you better fix a lot of hush puppy's to go with those few shipjack. As by the time you fry up the skipjack here will not be much fish to eat. LOL
    Catch a boat load.

We are having a low country boil for the 4th this year. That and a bunch of hush puppys and a few blooming onions and stuffed peppers.

Good luck... although I am curious, how did you "lose" a two-gallon bag of skipjack.

I have two deep freezes and two refrigerators full of food that I either bought, caught, picked, or killed.

I'm gonna add four catfish to that in the morning. Two were blues and two were channels. They sure were biting good tonight. We missed four more that didn't get hooked well. Would've stayed longer but the batteries weren't fully charged when we started...

We used 16 jugs with eight getting bit. That ain't bad at all.

Pete, I'm gonna use your fish/hushpuppie recipe. I do believe that one's a winner!

Pictures, tomorr, er..... later today! LOL
