Its look like I am going to be studying Carpentry for 6 months to a year. I enroll in my local techincal college to get a Specialized Training Certificate in Building Construction Technology with a Emphasis in Carpentry its 2 Semesters. I apply for student aid. If every thing go as planned I will be attending classes next month. Student Orientation is Next week. I am a very happy guy. it also has a beginning woodworker course.

Congrades to you on the trades bussiness. I`ve been doing carpentry for 20+ YRS. Had my own for 15. You get out of it what you put in.It seems you want it so it will come to those that want. Best of luck and its a great feeling when a job is done and you can say you did that.

Charles, that is great news buddy. Hone in on the trim work as there is more money to be made in the trim area of carpentry and you can work when it rains or snows. I had my own business in woodworking for over 37 years and I really do miss working now that I am retired. Judy and I are tickled to death for you. You will love the carpentry trade.

    Charles --

That's great news. Remember to use a push stick and a feather board when you use a table saw; they're a lot easier and less painful to replace than fingers.
