Really anwhere west of Odessa to KC. Never fish a river before but want to catch some hogs. I live in Blue Springs and have some friends up in Sibley so near there would be great!

Has anyone fished the Fort Osage boat ramp area from the bank?

i fish fort osage/sibley quite a bit till the river went nutz. havent been down in a month . ya can go west of the parking lot and theres a small feeder creek that runs in the main river or go east of the ramp and fish the high bank for quite a ways.. ya can walk quite a ways down stream from the 291 bridge theres trail ***** ya can fisharound or there use to be waters been high so long not sure whats there now.

I forgot about the Lil Blue Park west of sibley but it may be closed off again. guess ya can park amd walk in but thats at yer own risk another spot ya can possably walk into is west of the water treatment plant in Atherton. caught good fish in both these locations.
