    Hi fellow fishermen,
My name is Frank and I live in Anchorage, Alaska. I will be in ST Charles the first week of May on business. I have searched the net looking for a charter to fish the river in the evening 'till late night. I haven't found any listed. Can anyone recommend some charters for me? I am thinking 3 persons in my party. Also do I need my rod? I have a nice big uglystick and reel I use for King Salmon and Halibut. I know it will handle a big cat but I would rather not haul it down. Any suggestions is appreciated. Please send me a private email. Thanks in advance!

    Frank

Frank We have a BOC guide section.
Try that area. Those are the only guides this site supports.

    Welcome to the site.

I'd imagine some of the guys in the St. Louis area can hook you up; there are lots of fellows there who fish the Mississippi and my money says one of them would be happy to take you out while you're in town - you might check down under the Gateway Cats club forum (look under "partners in catfishing").

I don't think there are any guides on that section of the river but you could prolly find someone that would be able to take you out. There are a lot of tourneys on weekends that alot of people will be fishing so it may take a little trying to find someone with an open day.

I thought Bob had a "guided catfish trips" sticker on the side of his boat, but I'm not sure. I don't know if he still does any guiding, but he's in the St. Louis area and would know of someone. You can shoot him a PM - screen name theonecatfishbob. Good luck!
