These are marine sonar pictures taken from the coast guard. Picture 1 shows 2 cars laying in the bottom and picture 2 is a boat trailer.
Im not sure where the exact location is but thought I would share this.

Nice pics. Looks like what they call sidescan sonar.

They pull cars out of the water around here pretty often. Some are from folks that don't know hwere they are going and drive into the river, but most are from joyriders. They steal a car and drive it around for a while and then take it to a boat landing and just let it roll on dwon into the river/lake/whatever to get rid of it.

I hear a story about a guy that had an accident at a landing in a pretty iffy section of town and his car went in. They pulled his out and three others that nobody realized were down there until they started looking.

this reminds me of an old fishing story...

This old boy is out catfishin and sees a car sunken in the lake. About 2" of the roof is stickin out of the water. Ol' boy goes and stands on the car thinkin there might be a big cat swimmin around there. Sure enough, there's a big ol cat swimmin around this car. He drops his line in the water tryin to catch this thing and you know what that ol cat did?

He went inside the car and rolled the windows up!!
