Look at this motor

    Hey fellas, what can you tell me about his motor? what year, are these suzukis good motors??????? I'm having trouble finding information on it.

    There is no decals on the transom mount? Believe the law requires a data plate with serial number to be fixed at that location. Gotta have something there. Here is some general information....

    Looks newer than a 2000, to me and ... Yes ... Suzuki makes one of the most bulletproof engines around.

    Brown's Point Marine (http://store.brownspoint.com) internet site lists about any part you'd want along with info on identifying engines by model and serial numbers. You can download the entire parts and owner's manuals in PDF form.

    Suzuki is one of the oldest engine makers in Japan ... everything from railroad engine gear trains to motorcycles and they are famous for having really tough bottom ends.
