Look at this beast! Monster Turtle!

    Went out tonite and caught a few little dinks right off the bat and then I caught this beast!!!


    After that the bite died which was kinda weird but it was one fun nite!!!

    just walked in the door myself , caught acouple cats . man that snapper is ugly!!!!!

    Thanks Tom. See if you can get that snapper on the Presidental Ballot. It makes as much scens as anything running to date.:embarassed:

    It almost got my buddies arm he was trying to grab it up by the tail but then gave up. Then the dang thing tried to get me. It was funny. we were all yelling and screaming. hahaha.

    caught one snapper and one alligator snapper at the same time by the jumping cliffs at the lake I go to:crazy: unfortunately no fish on those set line that day:sad2:

    common snappers have a flatter shell and smaller head and if I'm not wrong max out between 60 and 100 pounds. alligator snappers have distinct spikes on its shell and a huge head with hooked upper beak max size 300+ pounds. the one in the picture is a common I think.

    Thats why i dont noodle.My luck id stick my hand in a hole and one of those monsters would take it off,no sir ill stick to the rod and reel.

    I have caught a 10#snapping turtle noodling didn"t bite me I don't know if I'm lucky or stupid.
