know this subject has been touched on I’msure, but I’m torn on what rods to buy. For right now I’m stuck on the river bank, Boathad to go (kids are expensive). Mainly will be fishing the Ohio or Kentucky rivers. I’d prefer a 9’6 or 10’ but maybe I should go longer to help with casting distance. I’m pairing them with Lews sc600 they are exceptional reels for the price. I’d like to stay around 80 dollars a rod. I have looked online at slimecat and TWC but wanted to get some other opinions.
