Anyone ever have any luck fishing long branch lake Macon, MO?
I have never fished it personally, but a buddy of mine lives near there. Rumor has it that they are catching some crappie there. He mostly catfishes. He caught a 62# flathead there last summer, and always catches alot of channel cats. Wish I could give you some specifics, but I know there are fish in it lmao.
I graduated from high school at macon back in 1974 and still have family and friends in that area. I did a little checking on my last trip to macon a couple months ago and I saw several pics of some pretty good flats that come out of there. From what I gathered the best cat fishin is up toward the northern end of the lake . One of these days I'm going to go for a long enough visit to take the john and do a little fishin myself . Paul
