Daryl Bauer is a nice guy,and a good fisherman, but he gets pretty wound up and excited about any fish, don't know if it comes from his job and promoting the states resources, he gets excited about any fish, I am pretty sure I have throw state record carp, gar, and trash fish on the bank to rot before in the past, didn't know any better and didn't care, now i just don't care but no longer leave fish on the bank for the ***** at public lakes.

I live not to far from there havn't been there lately tho. Its fairly new But the ngp says its an up and coming catfish lake Lots - -and lots of trees in the water we fished from the bank and got nothing but was a real cold and windy day. Have been thinking about taking the Jon boat out for a night and see what happens but haven't done it yet. Nice boat ramp and camping areas. If I get down there I'll let ya know how things went Just got a different motor for the jonboat and want to go test it out so that may just be the place to go !!

I might need something...... it seems lke years are slipping by real quick, seems like just last year my oldest child was just a little tyke and now shes starting college and moving out soon on her own. what a fast 18 years! hell for that matter how the hell did I get to be this old, I don't feel this old,I certainly don't act my age(just ask my wife), and why can't I do the things I used to do anymore without paying for it with pain for a couple days after?

LOL!!!!
