LONE STAR ALUMINUM BOATS

    I HAVE WHAT APPEARS TO BE A 1950S MODEL LONE STAR COMMANDER AND I AM LOOKING FOR MORE INFO ON IT OR PICS OF OTHERS LIKE IT.. THANK YOU!! sorry bout the caps

    well it has the nose of the commander, the width adn rear corner braces of the king commander

    Sorry I don't have any info, but that's the first boat I ever rode in. I don't know if it was a commander, sportster or corvette but my dad had one of them back in 1955 or 56. Sure brings back memories!

    thats about how shiny one side of mine is now :)

    ill probably polish on it some more tonight

    ive been poppin up all over on iboats..im not a registered member..and probably wont be haha i live here

    my boat is not in the 1959 flyer so i rectum its either a 57 or 58 if there is a HIN i am going to find the sob arrrrrrrrrrrghhh I AM AHAB!

    I doubt very serously that it has a number since it wasn't required before 1974. I think lonstar started useing the stamping system for numbers around 68 or 69

    two screws..holding nothing down...

    going to have to get more stripper and time...maybe something will show up

    i am now a memeber of the lonestarboats group on yahoo!! i got approved!! ya!!!!!!hoo!!! according to that the boat may be a 54 ..apparently that is the only year the "corsair" had handles inside the boat

    i have to get an affavit filled out by the dude i got it from..or actually anybody seeing how it was given around so many people it owuldnt really matter..same story ya dig

    take it 60 miles to tpwd ofice schedule a inspection by a squirrel sheriff

    come back on inspection date
    hope it doesnt get confiscated
    get a HIN stamped on it by the game warden

    pay money

    get stickers and title in mail in 2-4 weeks

    get hit by a semi and ruin boat

  16. Sounds doable except for the semi part......you already talk to the homie about the affadavit thingy? Didn't you say your dad had a boat>?

    My dads boats are all fiberglass and got 15 feet from catching on fire...some lucky guy had a wheel bearing lock up ona traielr and set 6 miles of grass fires..whoooooooooooooooooooo
