My great-grandson, he's 4, pulling down on 3 does, (rubber suction cup tips),I talked with Santa a bout a month ago. He said a Winchester Model 37 red letter in 410 is already in his bag, and he is looking for a child size compound bow. Problem is santa knows very little about bows. Any help/ideas/info from you guys on the bow would be much appriceiated.

John look into matthews bows. i know they had one that adjusts to the shooters length of pull. i don't remember the name of it though. i saw a show where they were using them to teach kids how to shoot a bow at schools, sport show events, and hunter education classes.

This is the one I was thinking of too! Genisis by matthews. This is the best youth bow on the market. Plus like it says they are adjustable, so your grandson can use it until he is big enough/ strong enough to pull a regular size bow.

I thank you folks for the info on the Genisis bow. I checked the website and I beleive it would be a good investment. The website gave a dealer locator and we have one near me. Today I called and they have none in stock, so tomorrow we will take him home by way of Athens Ohio and stop at a dealer there and see how one fits. The little bow he has now is a PSC 46 inch 15 lb. Hopefully the Genisis will fit him better. If so I have decided just to go ahead and make it a Papaw gift now, instead of waiting for Christmas. so hopefully he can get some kind of small game this season. Look out for pics of game and bloody arrows in next few months. (I hope)
    Again I thank you guys.
