i got 2 cast nets that are beyond repair and i was wondering what i should do with them...i'm gonna pull all the lead off of them and the rope but what do i do with the mono part of it...i hate to just put it in the trash so i was wondering what y'all do with your junk cast nets and where to recycle them?

Some of the boat landings around the coast have mono recycle bins but beside that I have never seen any more though. I always keep the lead line and heres a little tip if you tend to tear holes in your net keep 5 or 6 12"x12" panels off the old net so you have patches for your new net when you tear a hole in it just lay the patch over it and sew it in. I hope this helps.
