I waited until the frost vanished from the windshield on the Lund and then I went scouting for a new area to fish. Ended up in the vicinity of Marker 17B and 18. Found plenty of bait and possibly some striper's and some arches close to the bottom. Bait used was leftover from yesterdays trip, which included some blue backs and white perch. Water surface temp. was 54 degrees and wind was lite and variable.

I had four rigs out the back and two side planer boards. Ended up with four blues, one real nice one and the rest were eaters. All fish were caught on the lines out back and blue blacks were there bait of choice. Total fishing time was two hours.

I will be replenishing my bait stock this evening when Robert of "Bob's Bait" gets home with a new supply.

Bob's Bait is a great source for folks fishing Lake Norman, Mt. Island, and folks heading to Lake Hickory or Lake Rhodhiss.

    Bob’s Bait
7150 Little Mountain Rd, Sherrill’s Ford NC 28673
    704-483-1011 or 704-658-8542

Bait can be hard to find in the area, and Bob's is a good place to check.
