I fished yesterday day with my bud Cliff in his boat and I got skunked. Cliff caught two eater size cats. Wind was out of the NE and East most of the morning. I did catch some nice white perch on this trip. My current avatar depicts one of the nicer ones.

Today, the wind shifted to the West and NW and I faired better. I fished to the South (between Marker 11 and 12) of the river channel in a cove/bay that joins the river. Bait of choice was freshly cutup white perch and channel cat filet's and chunks. From 8 AM until 11 AM I caught nine blues, the largest 13.5 pounds and two channel cats.
