I picked up my party at 6 AM sharp and off we went to the area of D2 and fished the coves to the South of the shoals in that area. Bait of choice was Skip Jacks, chunks and strips and later some live white perch. I had four rigs out the back and two Sabiki Rigs, one on each side, bouncing off the bottom. Total catch of catfish was close to twenty, a mixture of blues and channels, plus some white perch. The largest blue was 9.5 pounds. Wind was out of the South, water temp was 85 degrees and water was slightly stained. Dropped my party off at 10:30 AM.
