I don't want any of you local Norman fishermen to faint, but I went up river scouting this morning. My primary target was Rocky Creek (aka, Skippers Creek). I scouted and fished the East side of the channel and caught a few cats and a few perch. I am scheduled for a trip of six people Thursday PM and my pickup point will be Pinnacle Landing and that is why I was up there looking around. I did not fish the West or NW side, but I did cruise it and most likely that is where I will take my party, unless one of the locals PM's me with a better location. Bait this AM was white perch and blue gills, alive and cut. Water temp was 82 degrees and wind was out of the SE.
