Candy a$$ that I am, I waited for the temperature to get up to 32 degrees before I went down to the dock, which was around 9:45 AM. Headed for Mtn. Creek, the other side of Slanting Bridge. Water surface temp. was 47 to 48 degrees, cloud cover and almost no wind. Bait of choice was blue backs and one single large white perch. Caught a blue on my Sabiki within just minutes, then it was almost 45 minutes before I caught another one. I had two side planer boards out and four regular rigs out the back and side corners. Then all heck broke loose. From a little before 11 AM to 12:15 PM I caught six blues, one flathead and several channels which I threw back in. All fish were release at my dock after photo's were taken. Back home a little after one. PS, I had one fish to pull drag (set at 15 pounds), but I did not connect with it. But, there is always next week.
