Left my dock at 6:45 AM and went searching for some new perch areas and found one with some 1/2 to 1 pound perch. They would only hit the jigging spoon and the small ones continued to hit the Sabiki Rig. Several times I had five to six white perch on the Sabiki's. Tore some lips off some bass this morning with the jigging spoon.

After getting my bait I went cattin. Wind was out of the SW at 3 to 8 MPH and water surface temp. was 84.6 degree. Maybe twenty minutes into the drift I had a planer board to take off, did not feel like a cat and it wasn't, it was a gar. Few minutes later another board goes scooting across the water and it was another gar. Caught some bottom feeding bass on small live white perch. Did not catch a single cat. Back at my dock at 10:30 AM
