I am finally spending my gift cards from Christmas for Cabelas. I am looking at the Rigrite adjustable livewell timer. It is adjustable for 30 seconds on and from 0 - 5 1/2 minutes off. This will work well with my freshwater flow system on my livewell. Has anyone used this type of timer before and how has it worked for you? Thanks...

the ones that i have seen can work on either freshwater intake or recirculation pump, depends on how you wire it up. Heck, they can work to run lights if u want ur light on for 30 secs then off for a while.
I dont have one on my boat but i know guys who do, they work just as advertised.

I have one mounted also in a Radio shack project box attached to the side of a 150 qt cooler that I use as a livewell or bait tank. It works great. I have it hooked into a recirculating pump and it kicks on and off like it should. You will not be disappointed with it.
