No reports of any fish being caught, except for Billfish76 and his 14" striper!

About half the folks went south, the other half including myself went north. I'm giving my first spot in McDowell Creek five more minutes and I'm moving.

No fish in my boat so far. We had a strong squall line come through with some heavy wind and equally heavy rain. Anything that was dry is now soaked. We may however be getting a slight brerak from the wind now.

Word is that the bite continues to be slow, but Bowlerman appears to have taken an early lead with about 25 pounds.

Rain comes. Rain stops. Rain comes again.

Cary had a bad report from the river; No fish biting.

Bowlwerman had a bad report from the lower lake; trolling motor got snatched off the front of the boat in high winds and waves and sank to the bottom of the lake.

The unknown is Bigbird and Holmes. No one has talked to them.

A flurry of activity in my boat. Went from zero fish to three in 20 minutes. No major fish, but the skunk is gone. All were caught drifting. Knocking on the door of 15 pounds...woooooo!!!

The sky is clearing slightly, rain is gone for now, and the winds have calmed.

I got a feeling someone will "find fish" in the closing hour....some call it sandbagging. LOL!

Congrats on getting the skunk off! A true hog from any team at any time can change the tide!

What a change in the weather!! Sun is out, winds are much calmer, gorgeous day. You would never believe it if you were here three hours ago.

We are down to less than two hours to weigh in. Bowlerman has a nice flathead, Cary said he still does not have anything, Team Green is singing the blues, but somehow miraculously they seem to catch fish in the final seconds...LOL!!!

    Almost over.

Most of the boats are finishing the final minutes below the bridge. Bowlerman and Billfish76 are all within sight.

    Check back for the weigh-in.

Interesting observations of 1st and 2nd place teams today:

    -weights nearly the same

    -big fish nearly the same

-one anchored all day, the other drifted all day

-they are tied in the points race
