Little help with Williamstown Lake?

    I am heading that way to catch some small cats for a fish fry and wondered what the routine was for that area. Not sure what bait to use...maybe frozen shad? You can PM me with any details, considering I fish alone all information remains secretive...jeez I would have been a good spy:wink:

    that wasnt the help I was looking for!:smile2: It is located in Dry Ridge KY, small lake with supposedly some cats in it...?

    Cut shad and cut bluegill work good for channels and flats there.Good luck.

    Dont know about frozen shad i always take a net and catch some when i get there.

    Using a cast net in that lake is illegal, as well as any KY lake under 500 sq. surface acres, according to KY F&W (301 KAR 1:130, 1:122). I had the same idea as you but considered frozen shad because of the net ban, hate for someone to get fined for a little known law. Thanks for the info though.
