How long do most of you get out of a trolling motor battery?

I know that is an opened ended question, and a lot depends on how often you charge it and how often you use it.

I use mine 2-3 times a week year round and run the trolling motor for about 3-4 hours per trip. I recharge mine after every trip because it is usually fairly well drained.

Any tips or advice is appreciated.

I can't complain, I've used the same deep cycle trolling battery for five years and I don't plan on changing it this year either. Run the trolling motor off and on 6-8hrs, grab night light clips hook-em-up 3-4hrs more. Never run it completely down on a weekend use. When I get home it goes directly on the lowest setting on my charger, trickle. In the winter it sets in the wooden box on my bench. Once or twice just for s&g if I remember, I'll hook it up overnight. Best investment boating I ever made.
