I went out on the licking with cats gone wild till about 11:30 when the T-storms rolled in and chased us off. Water temp was 61 then after dark it fell to 60. We didn't get any flathead runs on our gills, bullheads, or baby carp. So all were released unharmed to seed the bait population of the river lol.

I had a good time going out with s-man last night. Gonna have to hit that hole a few more times, it was a good hole. I was surprised to see the amount of deep water on that little river.

Phil, thanks for taking me with you. I guess I messed up on picking the hole to fish but next time will be different. Plus we only got to fish 1/3 of the night. Big flats require more than that lol.

That's alright Skip, if it were easy to catch big flatheads everyone would catch em'. That was the first time fishing that area, it's a learning experience. The fun part was launching the boat. Too bad we did'nt have an extra person to film that for your next dvd production lol. But when that storm broke loose on us, that boat went on the trailer alot quicker than it came off. Holy crap!
