I found this in my local paper today, thought I would share,,,, Voice of the people Dec 21, 2007 @ 10:13 PM The Herald-Dispatch Man is Christmas angel to family It was a cold December evening, I was in for the night (so I thought). As I slipped into my warm flannel p.j.'s, the phone rang. It was a neighbor lady, a single mother of three young children. She said her daughter was ill and asked if I could take her to Cabell Huntington Hospital's E.R. I picked her and her three children up and headed to the E.R. There were several people in the waiting room, one a young friendly gentleman. He was especially nice to the three children, commenting on their manners to their mother, who watched over them with great concern, never letting them out of her sight. They called his name. He went out of the room only to return shortly, and as he left the waiting room, he walked by the mother and dropped a rather large bill of money in her lap and said, "Merry Christmas to you and your children." The young girl looked at her mom and said, "He is a really nice man." (A child would know). I never saw the man leave. It seems he literally disappeared. She didn't have a chance to thank him. Do you suppose he was an angel? Do you believe in miracles? God bless you all, and merry Christmas.
