If this good ol boy ever trys to put you on fish, listen to him! I fished last week on a place we had a private conversation about, and no longer than 10 minutes later I was catching my new personal best flathead (R&R best). He only weighed 30.5, but his head was the size of a 40 pounder.

    Calvin, you are the man!!

Great fish Jeff. There are plenty more where that one came from. I may be there this weekend. If you and D-Bag get yiur boat why don't you come out to ElDorado and we'll give them a try.

You got that right KansasKatter, there has not been one time that I have gone out with Calvin (or even spoken to him) that I did not learn something. He is a real fountain of knowledge, its up to you to turn on the spigot though.

OldProwler, you are correct sir, and I am fortunate to have known the man where Calvin obtained a lot of that knowledge, same man who taught my Dad how to fish. We were all very lucky to have known Garland and learned from one of the best!
