Kelly, where were these pics taken? I'd love to take my son. He's got the largest collection of legos that I've ever seen (or stepped on). He'll love these pictures.

Kelli, You have the best name in the world. he he. I don't know where it was built, but here are some facts: it comes complete with:
    a balcony
    narthex
    stairs to balcony
    restrooms
    coat rooms
    several Mosaics a nave
    baptistry
    an altar
    crucifix
    pulpit
    an elaborate pipe organ
It took one and a half years to plan and build it. It took 75,000+ legos. It is 7 feet x 5.5 feet x 30 in. big. Seats 1,372 lego people, and has 3,976 windows.

    I really like that, Thanks!

I seem to recall a website that has a bunch of Bible stories reinacted in legos, but I can't remember the site address

Man, this is just sick! I googled the lego bible stories and got several hits, but every time I tried to open a link it was blocked for porn. I finally got to one of the sites and was reading about a lego recreation of the last supper and it said something about cannibalism and naked foot washing!!!!!!!!!!!! What the heck is the matter with people?!:confuse: :waaaht:

Many years ago when I was a kid my uncle took us to a place in Kansas City where artist used legos to build HUGE statue of liberty, Empire state buildings, Life size Bears, Elephants, Lions, etc..... all of these were BIG, 10'-15' tall statue of liberty.... I remember it was xmas time, you may check with the chamber of commerce there and see if they still do it. It was truly amazing... I'm trying to see if my mom still has the pics from there, if she does i'll post them. It was truly amazing and well worth seeing.

There is no way in this world that I could build something like this. Everytime I tried to make something, I I destroyed it before anyone seen it and laughed.

Pretty wild, Lego probably donated the blocks just for the advertisement it would get.

Gosh, looks like a very nice hobby to me!
Maybe we should all give up our hobbies (including fishing) and donate the money to charity.

That is by far the coolest Lego creation I have seen since the dinosaur at Downtown Disney. I have love lego's since I was kid, I just couldn't ever build anything. I always thought I could but when it came to actually putting the pieces together, it just never turned out like I saw it in my head. You know, come to think of it, I still have all of my lego's.... :worship:

I myself would be afraid to build a door way and walk through it.
