call your local wa-mart if they do carry leeches... if they say yes

I have used mud leeches on my trot line and bank poles before. I personally have not had luck while during the same time we were catching channel and flatties on blue gill. I would have never thought of using them but A guy I know who has caught many big flats in his day said he had in the past had alot of luck with them. It sounds hard to believe but he would cut them in half which makes them bleed some. He said he would put them on his trot lines and not catch much if anything for the first few days but then after a matter of 4 days maybe a week they turn white and begin to rot. At this time is when he said they would catch some nice fish on them. I have not used them enough to have much luck on them but he is a good and respected fisherman who i believe did well using them.

If you use them I would say you might try some whole ones but cut some up also and give that a shot.

also call a baitshop as well.... my guess the guy who delievered the leeches
told the guy at wal-mart cats are going after them... i have crawlers
left to use if leeches don't work

this year ive had the best luck with leeches, when the cats werent biting chubs or catalpa worms, they were still hitting the leeches, im in central ohio, and the cats love leeches here.
