leader/snell tieing machine?

    hey yall,i have heard people talk about a leader tieing machine that they have made to snell hooks at a very fast rate,this would help me so much if sum one could post a pic and instructions on how to make one if any one out there has.thanx

    are you asking about snells....

    coathanger and a base works wonders

    I have a really expensive machine for snelling.

    A board with a nail in it....LOL

    A snell actually takes under 5 seconds to tie. You can hook it onto the nail and pull it to help snug it up more. I also pull the tag end with pliers just to make sure. I don't play around with knots and it's something I prefer to take my time with.

    i know the board and nail thing but im lking for a quicker way to tie ALOT
    of hooks im talkin 200-250 i tie and sell them for carp fishing.lol

    Kenny I remember a fellow member telling me he bought a gadget that was suppose to help in snelling hook. When he recieved it it was just a piece of junk metal wire or something. The point is be careful....

    I've got an electric fishing hook tier.
    It doesn't tie big hooks though.
    It ties a snell type knot.
    It will fit in your palm and runs on a couple of AAA batteries.
    PM me and I'll tell you more about it.
