Hey guys, I had a great trip over the weekend spending time with my father and familly at Pomme De Terre Lake. I didn't get to do hardly any fishing for cats at all, but my nephews had a blast learning how to fish. After learning how to cast they caught a couple of perch over the weekend. Anyway, before heading to the lake Friday. Last Thursday night I made a long overdue trip to my old stomping grounds near my home town in Richmond Missouri. I went fishing with my cousin in Hardin. We put in at Buffalo Bridge and buzzed down river not far to a huge wash out hole formed from the floods in 1993. It's like a big lake in the middle of the river. I haven't been fishing there in years and this trip produced my biggest channel cat ever:smile2: Out of the few fish we caught I managed to land a 20 pound channel according to my digitals. Not wanting to keep the fish, but I had to get a picture. We rushed back as fast as we possibly could. Went to my cousins to snap a quick picture and back to the river we went. The fish swam off seemingly un-harmed or at-least I sure hope so from using the stringer. I had no gloves and I could hardly handle it for a picture without it.
