WTG. I assume you were on the James. If so, above or below Hopewell?

I have been in photography for over 15 years professionaly and I just wanted to give you the heads up. If you are getting a digital camera for your trips and just regular snapshots dont let them talk you into a huge megapixel camera ..you dont need it ..

I have several pro SLR cameras for shooting sports and weddings.

I still have an old Nikon coolpix 990 3.1 megapixel camera that is great for my bumping around stuff and I dont sweat it too much if it gets a little dinged up.

The short of the story is large megapixel cameras 6 or higher are great but the higher you go the more memory you suck up on your memory card and you hard drive at home.

Unless you are enlarging you photographs bigger than 8x10 you dont need the extra pixels.

email me if you need help finding something decent.

ps use a flash during the day to knock out the shadows
