me and garret met clyde, chad and greg out at bart yesterday and had a good time. i caught a 14 pounder and garret twice. he took 2 midnight swims and 1 started off with a slow motion head stand on the bow of his boat LMAO!! had lots of big fish runs after garret took his last dip into the water/tree. over all i learned a lot on this trip like not to bring sailor Jerry's on the boat, not to use certain hooks, new spots, and more ideas for my boat. overall it was a great trip that still has me laughing. my abs are sore i was laughing so hard. garret u were a constant AFV clip last night. i did have a big big run that had my bait for a while and i go to set the hook and he kept moving and eventually spit my hook out. I assure u that will not happen again. GOOD TIMES! LOL

Was a good trip,, some success with the Flats,, and, good to see friends, and meet new ones!!

Actually caught some bait, so, that's always encouraging!! Caught one ferocious 15# Flatcat..
Had planned to take his picture this morning, then let him go,, but, guess he was camera shy, because he decided not to stick around for the photo ...

I am alive and kickin but do know one thing that i wont repeat and that's Sailor Jerry damn thats ruff s*#t , i relized i need rails around the boat the boat is way to easy to go swimming from glad i had a another captain on the boat . hell i should of know better then to drink that crap as boat is easy to fall off when sober... Chad was in good shape in yaya as u cant fall outta that bad boy. another lesson learned damn i am still learning lots

They were actually channels my son caught, I'm just the one that tied them to the rope, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.lol

I seen and talk to Snagged2,flathead40,Aces 70#er,Whisker_fish manofewords,shortpole gotabig1 and some that are not on B.O.C. It was great to meet so many nice people on one fishing trip. It was a nice dark night for fishing for flats my son and I fished hard and my son only caught two channels. Just after the sunrise I move the boat about 50 yards, within 10 minutes I nail a 14 lb flat on a large gill. I was thinking I fish wrong spot again lol Speaking for myself flats are hard to fig. and sometimes I think it just comes down to luck!
