I've never stayed in the Days Inn, but have stayed in the Comfort Inn in Chester on numerous occasions and I can vouch for that place. Nice, clean, and a great breakfast room in the morning complete with waffles. It is $89 plus taxes puts you at $100 a night. There are places much more expensive, and some cheaper. Super 8 and VIP Motor Inn, but aren't as nice.

Good luck on your trip. Looks like I won't be on the water this weekend. But hope to hear a good report when you get back!

Yep.....I have been the guest of the Comfort Inn in Chester and enjoyed the stay.....even forgot my keys and left them in the room...fishing buddy driving..didn't miss them until we got on the water...so waited until we were leaving to check on them....they were at the desk....it was on the weekend and they said they tried to get in touch with me but I had booked through a travel agent...they were closed and Comfort Inn didn't have my cell phone #. Had a pleasant stay and pleasant people.

MikeB stayed there one weekend when I was there but he doesn't get on the board a lot.....never heard him mention any problems.

I think Skipjack is a Mississippi Drainage Fish. They catch Gizzard Shad here. Anytime is good but right now they are plentyful. Cast or Gill Net.
