I'm the sole provider of my family, and although I drink quite a bit, I do not frequent bars. However, I am curious......it is winding down to 3-ish in the morn'n at the waterin' hole in yer neck o' the woods (it's five o'clock somewhere LOL), and you're thrusted to the mike to do the last Karaoke song, what's your poison? Don't matter what genre or singer. Mine would be, 'Girl On The Billboard' by Del Reeves. Sound off! Thanx!

Well I 'll tell ya what. Most of the time you dont want to stick around to hear the last couple of songs do to the people who think they sound like there favorite singers or better, but in reality if they could tape it,and listen to it in the morning they would probably be so embarassed and laughing so hard. They probably wouldnt sing that late again, but hey if your having fun it doesnt matter.if I were to sing that late it would probably be some country to many favorites to name one.Now im lol thinking about some of those late nite karoke songs.

I would have to chime in with "Tush" by ZZ Top or maybe " Cheap Sunglasses" by the same band.

would have to be either More than a feeling by Boston, or Warmness on the Soul by Avenged Sevenfold.

Humm....maybe something from Pat Benetar....:cool2: a cool old school rock song. Like "We Belong", just because the bar closes dont mean you gotta go home  ..or "I Love Rock-n-Roll" by Joan Jett. I'm sure theres more, I'll be thinking on this on all day now.

I don't do karoke or bars, but have helped a few people out on a few songs in the past. They must have been higher than me, because I can't carry a tune......

Once at a business dinner a few years back we sang "ROCKY TOP".....wouldn't be a true Tennessean if you didn't know the words to that one.

Once in PA at the urgance of my friend, Jennifer, a bunch of us sang,
    "Brown Eyed Girl."

I used to enjoy watching people do this several years back at the local American Legion. I don't know if they were funnier when I was sober or drinking, but found most of them hilarious. Especially this one tiny man, who was quite high, singing, "Do You Think I'm Sexy?" That stands out in my mind as the most hilarious of all.

Then some people are really good at it. A dear friend of mine can do Merle and sound like Merle. "Mama Tried" was always his favorite, but he could do any of them

    Take care.
