Any one else see the large meteor last night?
I was out on the St.croix river last night and about 11:30 I watch this large meteor burn up in about 3 to 4 seconds, thing is I see it through a light cloud cover, made the clouds kinda glow.
From where I was sitting (east central Minnesota) it was in the south going east to west.

Sorry, I think I was at my computer on the BOC. I probably wouldn't have seen it from south Georgia anyway. By the way I lived at Lake of the Woods for two years. Good fishin', Jack.

a few people at work saw something that night.they said it was kinda green. the news said it was space junk burning up in the atmosphere.
nasa.gov is a cool web site. look up human spaceflight and it will tell you when the space station is visible in your area.its cool to see the shuttle chase it across the sky just before or after docking.
    "keep lookin up"
