Lanterns

    When using a lantern , you can buy sheilds to cover half the lantern to keep the light out of your face or off the water .

    I always use aluminum foil to cover half the globe does the same job and is cheap . Almost everyone has aluminum foil in the kitchen . If you use a lantern try it you will wonder why you never thought of it sooner .

    ive always used a aluminum can. use shears and cut th top and bottom off and a cut down the side . perfect fit.:big_smile::cool2:

    I've done likewise. The can came first as it was easily found on the river bank. Switched to the foil after a while, it's brighter and doesn't rattle around. :cool2:
