Upon leaving work , traveled to Copperhead to try my luck in a cove.
Ambient temperature was about 70 , water was 80. The wind was coming from the west at about 15MPH. Using livers , I sat at this cove for 45 mins with only 1 bite. Walking around the island , I continued attempts at multiple locations with no luck. Finally , I stopped at a pier located in 20 to 30 feet of water. First cast produced an attractive 3 pound channel.
Second and last cast (tired) produced what could be construed as the initial fish's twin. I left afterwards to call it a 'night'. Next trip will be MIL either Thursday morning or Friday.
