Where is a good easy place to find some shad in Wylie this time of year. I'm wanting to net some for an up coming trip. I'll probably be going one evening after work and won't have a lot of time. In the summer I've found them pretty easy but I've never looked for any while it's cold. Thanks.

Threadfin are usually easy to find-- particularly in Big Allison. You may get a few gizzard too near the bridges that are jumbo size 10-12 inches. Not as many gizzard in Wylie as are threadfin.

Hey Brandon, I've never been behind the dam. I'm not exactly sure how to get there. It would be nice to go and catch some off the shore. And not have to load and unload my boat.
