I have fished Wylie several times in the past couple of weeks, both before and after the rain. Honestly, I did not notice that big of a difference in the bite after the rain. It is still kinda slow with only 6-7 fish being caught. The good thing is that the channels are in the 5-6 pound range with no smaller fish hitting. The hardest thing lately has been the wind. Usually it is blowing in the opposite direction of the current. Not the end of the world, but when there is current on that lake I prefer to be moving with the current and not against. Presentation just seems to be better.
