    Overall fishing; EXCELLENT.

Temperatures range from 76-78 degrees on the main lake to 85-87 degrees in the South Fork River. The lake level has remained consistently three feet below full pond.

The total number of fish caught is the highest it has been all year, with catches of 30-35 taking place this week. However the overall size is lower, with fish averaging 2-3 pounds and an occasional 5-6 pound fish.

Drifting or trolling is the way to go right now. The fish seem to be scattered and in small schools. Double and triple hook-ups are not uncommon followed by 10-15 of little actions, only to see several more fish strike a short while later.

All of my fishing has been done during daylight hours from 7:00am-3:00pm.
