Lake Wylie continues to warm and water levels are stable around three feet below full pond. Water clarity is good on the main lake. Temperature on lower lake ranged from 73-75 degrees, and the South Fork River was 83-85 degrees. Up river the waters were slightly cooler in the lower 70's.

The overall bite was GOOD on Lake Wylie. Stable weather led to a consistent bite all week. The larger fish are harder to come by since most are staging to spawn or spawning. Plenty immature 2-4 pound fish are available.

Overall catches of 20-25 fish can be expected, though you will have to work to find the pockets that hold fish.
