Overall Bite: SLOW Lake Wylie water temperatures have dropped a lot of the past couple of weeks with the lower lake around 82-84 degrees and the rivers in the upper 70's. The water has remainded stainded in the rivers and clear on the lower lake. Most biting fish have been found in the afternoons drifting. The anchor bite has been slow both in the mornings and at night. A variety of baits have been tried with no single bait standing out. Anglers can expect to catch 8-10 fish on most outings, with the best chance of success drifting. Hopefully we can blame this poor bite on the bright night moon and move on to biting fish later this week once it begins to fade.
