I just read this in the Rock Hill Herald and thought some of you might like to know (see below):

More boat ramps have been reopened along Lake Wylie, York County public works director David Harmon said today. The following access points have newly reopened ramps, Harmon said:
--Allison Creek: Two of four ramps are open
--Buster Boyd: All ramps are now open
--Ebenezer: Open
--Nivens Creek: Open but under caution
--South Point: Three of six ramps are open
Other Lake Wylie ramps reopened in January. The ramps had been closed because of the area's ongoing drought conditions.

Sounds like the Herald is a little slow on getting the info out. South Point, Allison Creek, and Buster Boyd have been opena while now.

Good info to put out again though since lots of folks have not realized they are back open.

Lake Wylie came up another inch or so today and is no exactly one foot below the target elevation. It is the only lake in the lower Catawba chain that is still below target elevation.
