Anyone out there catching anything at Wateree these days. Late April- May is when Wateree is at its best. With all the rain a week ago The wateree may be brown and still kind of high. Anyone been out there lately.

Went Striper/Catfishing on Wateree last two weeks....no one I talked to catching anything to brag about. We caught catfish sporadicly all day 3-4 lbs and smaller on whole shad and bream. They started running water around 2-3 pm both weekends but the bite never picked up like it used to years ago. We had one striper that went about 5lbs and one channel cat that went about 61/2lbs but like I said we were going after stipers just below the powerlines below the cedar creek dam. Hope you have better luck than I did.

I fished Wateree today and only caught two small cats. I fished deep, middle and shallow but couldn't find any decent cats.
