:crazy:I am new to the scene and I see a lot of large catches. What is the best bait to use on Lake Wateree and/or Monticelo?

Welcome to the BOC Leland, Marty I think has the bait question answered for you. A few more to me would be Bream, Cut Carp, & Suckers. But my go to baits are the White perch & Gizzard shad. Hope this helps, any thing else don't be afraid to ask. Someone here will surely help out.

Herring and Shad have been working well at Monticello. If you can catch some of the perch they work good as well. We have herring and soon will have shad at SC Backwoods in Union. If we can help you please let me know. Keep fishing and good luck.

Welcome to the BOC Leland !! it's about time you joined up. If you can talk Old Eddie into swapping shifts with you I would be glad to hook up with you and go fishing some time. But you got to promise to take me to wateree some, never fished there.

    WELCOME ABOARD!!

For $12.99 a month you can track ChrisBlue on Monticello, and Mudkip on Wateree, with a GPS transmitter that we have secretly placed on their boats!! It shows you their coordinates and how long they are at each location!!

    WHAT A DEAL!!!

Check out the drifting thread. Some up to date Wateree info if you are interested in getting a load of eating fish.
