Try marble falls if you do not have a boat. I use to fish at Max Starky Dam some years back. It is a steep walk down the old railroad track, but it is beautifull area on the spillway side. Fished Travis out of a boat a few times but we only caught bass.

Lake Travis is way down, hard to launch a boat and almost impossible to bank fish right now. You may want to take a look at the LCRA (Lower Colorado River Authority) website. Better to fish Long Lake, Bastrop, or the Colorado River below Town Lake.

kyle, travis is a good catfish lake. i've caught some nice channels and a few flatheads. i scuba dive there so i can say firsthand that travis holds big numbers of large fish. try to cast net some perch or spot tail minnows. also the channels love d.k. punch bait.gadzooks is right as usual. the lake is low ,try mansfield dam park, turkey bend, paleface or point venture from the shore.
    good luck,
    matt
