Lake Thunderbird

    You know a lot of people don't like Thunderbird, but I've caught several 40+ pound cafish from that lake, and I have no problem keeping my freezer full of catfish from that lake. Of course it helps that I only live a few miles from the water. I usually fish around the Little River channel on the Northwest end of the lake.

    That's the area, that end of the lake is where I've caught all my big catfish.

    Fresh cut shad. Whole or cut shad is what I use 90% of the time. If I want to catch flatheads I'll usually noodle them, it seems they are a lot easier to catch that way.
