Big cats, no but...Steady action on fish in the 1.5-4 pound range YES. I was there a couple days ago with CATFISH GOLD MAGAZINE PRO STAFF guide George Rule www.trophycats.com and we HAMMERED them. During early morning, water 3 feet around shoreline grass beds, using danny kings under a slip float. Later in the day, around baited holes around standing timber, the closer to the submerged sabine channel the better, water 25 or so feet deep.
Will have my weekly nespaper column posted here at www.catfishradio.com and on the opening page of the BOC... good luck to you my friend. Luke Clayton

anywhere in the edge of the weeds has been working good. i've been using cut shad, nightcrawlers, and punch bait with good success on all. none of the fish have been anything to brag about, but my freezer sure is filling up fast. mostly channel cats, with an occasional blue.
