Well with weather cooling off and all the rain it has been hard to get out but when you can in my experience it can be rewarding. The north end of the lake is producing good numbers of 5-10 pound channel catfish and the occasional blue. The hotditch is producing good numbers of smaller channels and tons of white bass. The shad have all moved to the warmer water north end of the lake. You don't have to be fishing the ditch just stay north and try different locations. I have been catching the catfish deep around the creek channels. If you go out trust me I missed enough fish to assure you that they are still down there. Bad back making it real hard but I am still trying. If anyone else goes out let me know how it goes.
