Lake Shelbyville Advice

    Heading to Lake Shelbyville this weekend. Some advice on the best place for cats? Finally got the trolling motor and fish finder hooked up and in use.

    Travis Welcome to the BOC. I cant help you on that lake. Never fished it. If you are fishing in the evenings, think shallow. I would check out any sandy banks or pea gravel areas. Depth of 7-10 ft. Good luck buddy.:big_smile:

    About any of the coves with standing timber are good this lake is starting to produce some monster fish

    I have fished there . But was below the spillway didnt do to bad . I fished alot of the log jams .

    I have caught a ton of catfish in the fish hook area North of Bruce.

    Planning to try this lake out myself in the near future. Maybe do some night fishing there. :big_smile:
